RICHARDSON – Everyone’s favorite creepy, kooky and mysterious family is heading to the Repertory Company Theatre starting this weekend and running through Oct. 31.
It’s “The Addams Family” featuring the iconic characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams.
“All the characters are very similar, you just find a lot more, kind of the back story of some of them in this production, you know and the relationships and things like that, that you didn’t see in the TV version,” said actor Nelson Wilson.
The story takes place in the family’s mansion with Gomez experiencing every father’s worst nightmare, a grown up Wednesday has fallen in love and begs dad not to tell mom. Now Gomez faces something he’s never done before, keeping a secret from his wife, Morticia.
But that’s not all, the Addams Family is hosting a dinner party for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents. It’s a night that will change everything forever.
