One of Richardson’s favorite fall events is back. The Huffhines Art Trails featuring Pawtoberfest includes some of the area’s best artists, musicians and craftsman, each sharing their work and talent.

The event attracted hundreds of people to Huffhines Park on Saturday alone with Sunday expected to be busy as well.

Families enjoyed food and drinks, live performances and photo opps at different spots around the park. The Huffhines Art Trails featuring Pawtoberfest is the first major event in the city since the start of the pandemic.

People weren’t the only ones having fun. Dogs, big and small, participated in a costume contest, a parade and even had the chance to create some art.

The Huffhines Art Trails featuring Pawtoberfest began in 1976 and has grown to become one of the best arts and crafts shows in North Texas.

The event continues Sunday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission and free parking.
