The Mayor, City Council Members and Parks and Recreation administrators gathered for a ceremonial ribbon cutting Saturday at the Richardson Senior Center to mark the opening of the newly renovated facility. Located at 820 W. Arapaho Rd., the Senior Center was closed for about 14 months during renovations and began service to the public again June 1. It is now open with modified hours Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Senior Center memberships are available to people ages 50 and up, both residents of Richardson and nonresidents.
