Gary Slagel Elected Chair of the DART Board of Directors

Earlier this week former Richardson Mayor Gary Slagel was elected chair of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Board of Directors. Slagel represents the cities of Richardson and University Park, and the towns of Addison and Highland Park on the DART Board.

Appointed to the DART Board in 2011, Slagel graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, and an MBA from Abilene Christian University. He is the CEO at CapitalSoft, Inc., a former president of the Metroplex Mayor’s Association and a former president of the North Central Texas Council of Governments.
