The North Texas Municipal Water District is now partnering with Water is Awesome, a public outreach campaign that shares educational resources on water-saving methods, smart irrigation, native and adapted plants (that are more likely to survive in drought conditions), and landscaping. You can find these resources at the Water is Awesome website, including a “Texas Yard Makeover” feature that shows before and after photos of an actual front yard transformation using native plants.
