The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting to fill hundreds of thousands of temporary positions across the country to assist with the 2020 Census count.
Data collected through the U.S. Census Bureau helps determine resources for communities such as Richardson, but also gives an accurate indication of the needs around the community.
The 2020 Census will be conducted between January and July 2020.
In November 2019, members of Richardson’s Complete County Committee gathered to kick off its support efforts for the 2020 Census. The group is made up of representatives from all over the community including education, non-profit organizations and government officials who are working together to design a local strategy to make sure Richardson gets counted.
