Beginning Monday, May 15, the bike lane and traffic lane of southbound Waterview Drive between Campbell Road and Prestwick Lane, may be closed to traffic alternately and at all times for water main and fire hydrant installation work.
At least one lane on southbound Waterview Drive will remain open during the work and overnight, utilizing the bike lane for southbound traffic if the main travel lane is closed.
Please note that if the contractor needs to pour concrete or haul material between 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., both southbound lane may be closed for 15 minutes at a time, with flaggers present and traffic detoured to an adjacent street while the road is fully closed.
No on-street parking on southbound lanes will be permitted during construction.
Residents with driveway access off southbound Waterview Dr. will be contacted prior to any work being done that could impact vehicle access.
The work will be done in two phases and is expected to be completed by November.
