Public Services would like to remind everyone, with
antibacterial wipes usage on the rise due to COVID-19, to please put all wipes
in the trash and not the toilet. Though some wipes are advertised as
‘flushable,’ they don’t decompose and get caught up in wastewater pipes, pumps
and screens, not to mention show up in creeks and streams. Please help protect
the wastewater system and our environment by remembering, only toilet paper
down the toilet!
