Persons wishing to register to vote in the upcoming May 7 election have a few days left to submit an application. Voter registration applications must be postmarked by Thursday, April 7 or brought in person to the county registrar’s office (county where voter resides) by end of business on that day in order to participate. Postage-paid applications are available online (for printing out) at www.votetexas.gov as well as at the Richardson Library.
New registered voters will receive their voter cards by mail. Early voting takes place April 25-May 3.
