There’s only about two weeks left to register to vote in the May 6 Local Election. Voter registration applications must be postmarked by April 6 or brought in person to the county registrar’s office by end of business April 6 in order to participate. Postage-paid applications are available online (for printing out) at www.votetexas.gov as well as at the Richardson Public Library. Note that if you simply need to update your information on your voter registration record you can now do so through the texas.gov portal here.
New registered voters will receive their voter cards by mail. Early voting takes place April 24-May 2.
