Now that it’s finally feeling like fall outside, it’s the perfect time to volunteer with friends and family in the City’s Community & Corporate Environmental Cleanup Program. Groups pick up trash and recyclables along creek beds and/or in one of Richardson’s many parks or green spaces, with all supplies (including bags, gloves and tongs) provided by the Health Department. It’s good exercise plus you help beautify the environment and keep harmful debris from our local waterways. Any size group is welcome!
City staff will help suggest a location and will pick up the filled bags when a group is finished.
