Senior Center staff are promoting a unique opportunity to tour key sites and battlefields of World War II without leaving home. “World War II and the Western Front,” a free, virtual tour led by George McFall, takes place Tuesday, Jan. 26 from 4-5:30 p.m. via Zoom. Participants will hear about London, the Blitz and the Battle of Britain before following the route of the 175,000 Allied troops across the English Channel from Portsmouth to Normandy. Learn about the monumental operation of the D-Day landings and the Allied final push across mainland Europe in 1944 and visit wartime Paris before heading to Berlin via Bastogne in Belgium—the site of the infamous Battle of the Bulge.

All ages are welcome to participate. No fee. Click here to register.
