“Small Talk” is a multimedia performance installation project by students enrolled in VPAS 6391 Creativity Visual Arts Workshop: Post-Studio Arts that transforms the SP/N Gallery into an artistic apparatus performing a series of creative chain reactions. Inspired by the mechanisms of a Rube Goldberg Machine (an elaborate device and system that perpetuates motion, often in unintended, unexpected and nonsequential ways), the installation will morph throughout the exhibition in collaboration with UTD graduate students.
