RICHARDSON – The Richardson Public Library is adding more virtual activities to its growing online community this summer as the COVID19 pandemic remains a concern. 

The free programs include Young Authors, which gives young artists a chance to create a children’s book from scratch. The Explorers Club with virtual programs such as a Citizen Scientists Project where young people find local ways to get involved and help protect the plant.

There’s also a Digital Escape Room featuring Dog Man, Minecraft and Harry Potter.

“We have an outdoor scavenger hunt planned around the Library to help young people explore and learn a lot about the City,” said Shay Brooks, Youth Services Supervisor for the City of Richardson.
