RICHARDSON – This summer, kids and teens ages 3-18 are invited to create the new Richardson Children’s Library Card.

Participants can use colored pencils, crayons, markers or paint to come up with a design. The winning artwork will be printed on the new cards, coming out in fall 2020.

“We know we have some excellent illustrators out there. Children and teens can draw anything they like that relates to Richardson, reading or the Library. Go crazy being creative,” said Shay Brooks, Youth Services Supervisor for the Richardson Public Library.

The deadline to enter the contest is Aug. 7 at 2 p.m.  Contest winner will be notified by Aug. 12.
