AHA Presents Lifeline Awards to Richardson Fire Department

A representative from the American Heart Association attended the City Council work session Monday to present the Richardson City Council and the Richardson Fire Department with the Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold Award for the third year in a row, and the Plus Award for the second year in a row.

Campbell Road Lane Closures Expected Nights, Weekends

The left and middle lanes of eastbound and westbound Campbell Road between Cap Rock Drive and Canyon Creek Drive will be closed at night and on weekends through late August for roadway construction, part of the 2019 Annual Street Repair Project.

New Spring Valley Road Closures Begin Next Week

Various lanes of West Spring Valley Road will be closed over the next two weeks as crews work on the Spring Valley Road reconstruction project near the intersection at Waterview Drive.

The Parks and Recreation Department’s 2019 summer Friday Film Series concludes tonight, Aug. 9, with the 2016 animated PG-rated film, “The Angry Birds Movie,” shown outdoors at the Heights Park softball fields beginning at dusk.
