City Photo Contest Results Exhibit Opens Tomorrow

The 2021 City of Richardson Photo Contest Results Exhibit will be on display Jan. 30-Feb. 16 in the Library’s Third Floor Gallery (the winning photographs will be announced online Jan. 30).

Lane Closures on Campbell Road

The right lane of eastbound Campbell Road between Nantucket Drive and Old Campbell Road may be closed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for new sidewalk, curb and gutter construction near Old Campbell Road. The work is expected to be finished in early February.

Inner Lane Closures Expected on Belt Line Road East of Yale

The left lanes of eastbound and westbound Belt Line Road between Yale Boulevard and Jupiter Road may be closed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. while median work takes place. The work is expected to be finished by early February.

Miss Belle’s Place to Move from Former Owens Farm Site

Moving plans are underway to relocate Miss Belle’s Place, a historic house owned by the City, from its current location near Plano Road and East Lookout Drive.

Tree Cycling Drop-Off Ends Feb. 1

Just a few more days left to take your Christmas tree to the City’s Tree Cycling drop-off location—Tree Cycling ends Monday, Feb. 1 at the Municipal Service Center, 1260 Columbia Dr. After that, you may continue to set out trees and other brush and bulky items at the curb and picked up as part of the City’s Brush and Bulky Item Collection (BABIC).
