More than 30,000 books (and CDs, DVDs and other media) await attendees of the Friends of the Richardson Library (FOL) Book Sale, Oct. 1-3 in the Library’s Basement Program Room. Admission is free and most books are priced at $2 and under, with the exception of rarities, signed copies and first editions. The biannual event is a great way to spend an afternoon and benefit a good cause at the same time.
Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 2-5 p.m. Sunday, with Friday designated as the event’s tax-free day and Sunday designated as Fill the Bag Day, where attendees may fill a bag with books for $15.
FOL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Richardson Public Library and enriching the cultural opportunities available to Library users.
