City Photo Contest Winners “Make a Splash”; Results Exhibit Begins

The City’s Parks and Recreation Department has announced the winners in the 2022 City of Richardson photography contest.

“It Happened One Night” Opens Tonight at The Core Theatre

In this original adaptation of the screen play by Robert Riskin and the short story by Samuel Hopkins Adams, a renegade reporter trailing a young runaway heiress for a big story joins her on a bus heading from Florida to New York, and they end up stuck with each other when a bus leaves them behind at one of the stops. The play is being restaged by the company after its 2016 premiere at The Core Theatre.

Come spend your days with our gorgeous Handsome. He is a 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix and is the Shelter’s third-longest resident. He is fully vetted and microchipped. He came to us as a stray with another dog and we found that he needs to be in a home with adults.

Jupiter Road Lane Closures South of Springpark Way

All southbound lanes on the Jupiter Road bridge over Spring Creek (located between Springpark Way and Heather Hill Drive) will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, Jan. 31 for bridge rehabilitation work.
