City Of Richardson To Sponsor Art Contest Featuring Spring Wildflowers Theme To Beautify Traffic Signal Boxes

The City of Richardson and the Richardson Kiwanis Club will host an art contest to select five original, wildflower-themed designs that will be featured as vinyl wraps on traffic signal boxes at intersections throughout the community.

All completed applications and artwork submissions are due by Monday, Feb. 28 no later than 5 p.m.

Richardson Aquatics Holds Job Fair

This week Richardson’s Aquatics program held its first job fair of the year. More than 100 positions are up for grabs at the City’s five pools. These jobs are the perfect opportunity for young people to gain experience and earn some income this summer.

Santa’s Village Packs Up

This week City crews began dismantling the buildings at Santa’s Village and taking down the lights and decorations, packing everything away until late fall, when Santa’s Village will once again be built.

City Photo Contest Begins Tomorrow

The City’s annual photo contest will begin accepting entries Saturday, Jan. 8. The contest is open to both Richardson residents and nonresidents, divided into three competition groups: Students (high school age and younger), Amateur Adult (college age and beyond), and Proficient Adult (proficient in the art of photography).
