Though the public cannot currently purchase blue recycling bags at City Hall due to its temporary closure, the bags continue to be available for purchase at the following locations during regular business hours:

  • Fire Station 6, 3591 Park Vista Rd.* 
  • Heights Recreation Center, 711 W. Arapaho Rd. 
  • Huffhines Recreation Center, 200 N. Plano Rd. 
  • Senior Center, 820 W. Arapaho Rd. 
  • Service Center, 1260 Columbia Dr.* 

*Blue bag vending machines are available 24/7 at Fire Station 3 and 6 and during regular business hours at the Service Center. Note that residents may redeem blue bag letters at all locations listed except for Fire Station 3 and 6. 

Richardson residents may pick up a free roll of blue bags at special giveaway events scheduled at various locations each month; see article under Environmental below for information about September giveaways.
