Proposed 2023-24 Fiscal Year Budget Presented

City Manager Don Magner presented the FY 2023-24 proposed budget at the City Council’s regularly scheduled work session Monday. The proposed budget totals $399,004,296, an increase of $44,517,417, or 12.56 percent, over this year’s budget.

Temporary City Hall Opens for City Council Meetings Next Week

Richardson City Council meetings will take place at the City’s Temporary City Hall, 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd. Suite 525, until further notice beginning Monday, Aug. 21. The 77,000 square-foot building is located at the southwest corner of Plano Road and Greenville Avenue.

Corporate Challenge Opening Ceremony Held

The Corporate Challenge is underway in Richardson. Last Friday, the annual event marked the start of the games with hundreds of participants taking part in the Opening Ceremonies at Huffhines Park.
