In this autobiographical play written by renowned film and theater scenic artist Jim Finger, the year is 1965 and 24-year-old Jim has boarded a bus from San Antonio to Los Angeles with big dreams of being a Hollywood movie star. But after arriving in LA, he realizes he’ll have to tap into his artistic skills and consider a more immediate plan. “The Scenic Route” shows that failure can lead you to where you were meant to be.
