Richardson Library cardholders are reminded that if they are traveling over the holidays and need Wi-Fi, portable Wi-Fi hotspots are available for check-out for up to seven days.

Mural Completed at The IQ®HQ

The mural at the Richardson IQ® headquarters building (a.k.a. The IQ®HQ) was completed this week and can be viewed on the east side of the building, located at 1302 E. Collins Blvd.

Library Mascot Finds New Home

Trevor the Traveling Dog, a colorful, 10–foot-tall sculpture that proudly stood on top of the Library’s Children’s Area for almost two decades, was moved this week in preparation for renovations at the Library that are part of the voter-approved 2021 Bond Program.

BPAC Becomes City’s Newest Board/Commission

The City Council adopted an ordinance Monday creating the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee as one of the City’s Boards and Commissions (previously, the committee was a subdivision of the Parks and Recreation Commission).
