Bridge construction along Spring Valley Road will cause some major traffic impacts between Highway 75 and Coit Road starting April 1.
Various lane closures will be needed between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. as work crews place beams for new bridge construction over the Hunt Branch Bridge and Cottonwood Creek Bridge as part of the Spring Valley Road Project.
Construction on the road is expected to wrap-up this summer.
The Spring Valley Road Project is a partnership between Dallas County, the cities of Richardson and Dallas, Dallas Water Utility, DART and the North Central Texas Council of Governments.
The goal of the project is to enhance mobility along Spring Valley Road, which is a critical part of the City of Richardson and City of Dallas Master Thoroughfare Plans.
