UT Dallas is inviting the public to view a free, online art exhibition through Oct. 31 entitled “Post-terrona,” featuring the drawings of Ph.D candidate Francesca Brunetti. The drawing project is an “imaginative reconfiguration of the southern Italian woman” (often referred to in Italian culture as “terrona,” or “hayseed”) and a challenge to the conventional representations of the terrona in order to “shift the dialogue.”
