“BTS for BLM: K-Pop, Race and Transcultural Fandom” will provide an overview of K-pop fans involved in anti-racist activism, examine Black-Korean relations in the U.S. since the 1980s and discuss the K-Pop group, BTS, and their cultural and historic relationship with Black pop cultural forms.
