Though the United States Postal Service (USPS) has always encouraged customers to send holiday packages early, it is especially doing so this year, as an increase in mailed gifts and greetings is expected due to the pandemic, with people across the country holding less in-person celebrations. To help meet the increase, the USPS is adjusting services, including expanding Sunday delivery.
For safe, social distanced mailing, customers are encouraged to use the USPS Click-N-Ship online feature 24/7 for help with shipping, printing shipping labels, purchasing postage and requesting free package pickup (no required number of packages needed for free pickup).
