From Las Vegas to Richardson – “Sixtiesmania,” presented by Tribute Masters, is an all-encompassing celebration of the iconic musical 1960s with authentic custom suits from England, a continuous multimedia backdrop, multiple costume changes, vintage instruments, incredible musicianship and vocals and a song pool of more than 250 songs to choose from. The show takes audiences on a thrilling musical roller coaster from the Beach Boys to the British invasion, and everything in between, including the California sound, Carnaby Street, the Vietnam tour-of-duty, Flower Power, Woodstock, and so much more.

In this interactive show, you’re in Sister’s summer school classroom and Sister (played by Denise Fennell) is NOT happy. It seems the diocese has decided to offer a summer school catechism course for those students who weren’t paying attention all year, so instead of three relaxing weeks at the motherhouse, Sister is stuck with her students! And summer is already rough enough for Sister, wearing 50 pounds of gabardine in 90-degree heat! Find out the answers to such questions as, “Did Jesus have to go to summer school? or “What is an appropriate summer vacation for a practicing Catholic?” And get ready for some laughs—but don’t be late to class!

A teenage girl hears something strange on her radio. What she believes is the final transmission of Amelia Earhart turns out to maybe be true, and she writes it all down. Decades later, her notebook becomes the starting point for this immersive experience and unique multimedia “concert.” Presented by Eisemann Edge Initiative, Verdigris Ensemble and Eisemann Center Presents.
