The Richardson Police Department held its quarterly UNIDOS meeting Thursday at City Hall. UNIDOS is RPD’s Hispanic community outreach program that acts as a resource for Spanish-speaking residents by presenting information that is of importance to the Hispanic community. Thursday’s meeting, which was conducted solely in Spanish, focused on the upcoming 2020 Census, which begins this month. The meeting is just one way the City is working to ensure that everyone is counted. The next UNIDOS meeting is scheduled for May 9.
