RICHARDSON – The Network of Community Ministries unveiled a new mobile food truck this morning during a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new vehicle is fully equipped with shelving, a refrigerator, and freezer. It will provide food to families in the highest needs schools within Richardson’s ISD.
The Network anticipates distributing more than a million pounds of food with the truck over the next year. Since the start of the pandemic, the organization has experienced a 600% increase in demand for service.
