During the pandemic, numerous news stories have reported that people are observing and connecting with nature more than ever before. If you’ve snapped any great nature photos recently, enter them in the Texas Parks & Wildlife’s “In the Wildhood” Backyard Photo Contest, taking place through Aug. 31. Choose from 12 categories and more than 40 photo prompts.
To participate, just post your photo(s) to your favorite social media platform (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) with the hashtag #InTheWildHood, or upload photos at the contest website. Each participant may enter as many photos as they’d like in as many categories as listed. All entries must be uploaded or tagged by 11:59 p.m. CST Aug. 31.
