Thursday Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 are designated as “Hometown Thursdays” for Richardson residents and require a free ticket for admission to Santa’s Village, a tiny town of 16 holiday dwellings offering children and their families fun activities including a chance to take pictures with Santa.

A limited number of tickets are available.

Tickets are available starting today at Richardson City Hall located at 411 W. Arapaho Rd., Heights Recreation Center located at 711 W. Arapaho Rd., and at

Huffhines Recreation Center located at 200 N. Plano Rd. 

Richardson residents must show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or water bill, to receive up to eight tickets per household.

Attendees of Santa’s Village can enjoy free parking, musical performances and the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 7  Santa’s Village will remain free and open to the public on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights Dec. 7 -Dec. 22 from 6 – 9 p.m.
