As temperatures cool and rain is finally falling in Richardson, the Water Department would like to remind residents to be sure to put your sprinkler system on “manual” or utilize a rain sensor so as not to water during rain. The City’s Summer Water Conservation Plan is still in place through Oct. 31, which allows residents and businesses to water twice per week, on their designated watering day. No watering is allowed from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Water My Yard is a free service provided by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
