The student application deadline is fast approaching for the 2020 Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program (RMSIP)—applications will be accepted online through Feb. 29. Now in its third year, RMSIP enables incoming high school seniors to receive eight weeks of paid summer employment at a local business, nonprofit or government agency. Students gain invaluable real-world experience and exposure to careers in which they’ve expressed an interest, work 20-40 hours per week and earn a minimum of $10 per hour.
