The Arts Incubator of Richardson (AIR) kicked off its second annual Storytelling Festival during its popular AIR Time interview-and-movie series at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Richardson this week.

The Festival, which is a celebration of the art of storytelling, focuses on the idea that everyone has a story to tell.  Featured storyteller Elizabeth Ellis was the guest.  She also visited multiple schools and lead workshops including a lunchtime appearance at the Richardson Public Library.

“When people realize how personally storytelling can touch them, they are even more attracted to the art form,” said Linda Clary, board member of AIR.

The Festival wraps up on Saturday, Feb. 22 at First United Methodist Church Richardson with a 2 p.m. performance by local storytellers.

Tickets may be purchased at the door.  All ages are welcome!
