Santa’s Village will remain closed tonight due to wet conditions, but is expected to be open tomorrow and Sunday from 5-9 p.m. This is the final weekend to meet Santa at Santa’s Village.
The colorful, outdoor wonderland features 11 tiny buildings nestled among the trees, each with a treat and/or activity for children, including talking with Santa and free Santa photos. Attendees can also purchase hot chocolate and enjoy live music and dance performances from a variety of local groups.
Admission is free as well as adjacent parking. Note that the Village will be open to stroll through and view, without the dwellings open, Dec. 18-24 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Huffhines Park is located at 1500 Apollo Rd.
If Santa’s Village has to remain closed on Saturday due to wet weather, an update will be posted on the City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Facebook page and www.cor.net/santasvillage.
