The City Council approved its 2024 Meeting Calendar on Monday. Each December, the Council is asked to consider and approve a meeting schedule for the upcoming year to help plan for important breaks, holidays, etc.
City Council meetings are scheduled on Mondays beginning at 6 p.m. Generally, work sessions are scheduled on the first and third Mondays, with business (action) meetings scheduled on the second and fourth Mondays.
The City Council generally does not meet on fifth Mondays, recognized City holidays, the Monday of a holiday week, and Mondays during RISD/PISD Spring Break.
The 2024 Calendar features 30 meetings, including a two-day Budget Workshop scheduled for August.
