Grammy-nominated Sammy Miller and the Congregation are bringing their high-energy, feel-good sound to Richardson.

This weekend, the group is performing at the Eisemann Center where jazz will be taking center stage, but before they perform, Sammy Miller and the Congregation are spending the week visiting students at schools in Richardson and Plano. It’s part of Eisemann Educates, an education and outreach component of Eisemann Center Presents.

“I want to give you the opportunity to have more joy in your life. The world can be tough, and we want to play music to share, to make people feel a little bit better,” said Miller.

Sammy Miller and Congregation will be hosting a jam session for students Friday, the day prior to their performance.
