The Richardson Police Department Explorer Post #761 competed in the Grand Prairie Metroplex Challenge last weekend and took home several trophies in scenarios that included Unknown Call, Active Shooter and Bomb Threats.
The Police Explorer program allows youth between the ages of 14 and 21 to learn about law enforcement careers by working side-by-side with police officers in numerous hands-on activities, and develop character through a variety of leadership opportunities, including the Explorer Post competitions.
