Richardson’s 49th Annual Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 4. This year’s theme is “There’s No Place Like Home.” The parade begins at 9 a.m. at Coit Road and Cherrywood Drive, and concludes at J.J. Pearce High School. Bands, floats, decorated vehicles and Santa and Mrs. Claus will delight onlookers.
The Parade Award Ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. on City Hall grounds, followed by a Tree-Lighting Ceremony and
the inaugural evening of Santa’s Village.
Parade registration closes at 6 p.m., Nov. 19. Entry fees and new, unwrapped toys will go to Network of Community
Ministries.
