The Parks and Recreation Department is relaunching its Urban Naturalist program with four upcoming walks, three at Breckinridge Park and one at Spring Creek Nature Area. Each walk has a different focus and is a great opportunity to learn from a Texas Master Naturalist about the natural environment in Richardson. Cost is $5 per person; children under 18 who accompany a registered parent may attend for free. (Children ages 12 and up may attend without a parent but must be registered.)

The first walk scheduled is a Trout Lily Discovery Walk, to be held this Sunday, March 2; other walk dates are March 15, April 26 and May 10.  For more information, see page 2 of the Spring Recreation Guide.
