RICHARDSON – The Richardson Public Library has additional Wi-Fi hotspots available for check out thanks to the Friends of the Richardson Library.

The organization donated 50 hotspots to the Library, which brings the total number of hotspots available at the Library to 72.

“We are very proud and excited to donate the hotspots to the Library in addition to providing tech support for those hotspots for a year,” said Lisa Kupfer, Friends of the Richardson Public Library.

The donation comes at a time when more people are out of work and students are having to learn from home due to COVID-19. Library cardholders age 16 and up can check out the hotspots for three weeks; they can be renewed depending on reservations by other Library users.
