The City of Richardson is partnering with Tongue In Cheek Ice Cream to find the perfect “Richardson” flavor of ice cream to celebrate the City’s 150th anniversary. Input from the community will help choose the flavor, which will be sold at the City’s anniversary celebration June 24.
Through April 21, Tongue In Cheek will be seeking community feedback on its Facebook page (@tongueincheekicecreamllc), then will have a vote to identify the top two flavors. The flavors will then be available to sample at the Tongue in Cheek Richardson location, 526 W. Arapaho Rd. from May 1-14. Customers will be asked to vote on their favorite, with the winner deemed the “Richardson” flavor.
In addition to being sold at the anniversary celebration, the “Richardson” flavored ice cream will be sold in-store for a limited time following the event. A portion of the sales will be donated to Network of Community Ministries.
Other local businesses are encouraged to have a Richardson 150th special or offer to help celebrate Richardson. Please share any ideas or offerings your business may be interested in offering.
