RICHARDSON — Applications for the Richardson Citizens Academy & Resource Education Series, also known as Richardson CARES are now being accepted.
The free community program will be held Sept. 1 – Oct. 20.
CARES is an eight-week class to help people gain a better understanding and knowledge of the structure and function of the City of Richardson.
Participants will meet every Thursday from 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m. and get to know City staff, while learning about the day-to-day operations of Richardson’s government. Each session focuses on different functions of the City and will be presented by various departments, at various locations.
The program is interactive and will include tours, on-site demonstrations, and questions-and-answer sessions.
