The Richardson Community Band ends its 2019 summer concert season on a nostalgic note Sunday, Aug. 18 beginning at 7 p.m. with “Those Summer Nights,” featuring a variety of favorite summer selections including “Variations on a Kitchen Sink,” “Genius of Ray Charles,” “Leroy Anderson Portrait,” and selections from “Grease.”
The concert is free and takes place at the Civic Center fountain plaza, 411 W. Arapaho Rd. Lawn chairs, blankets, picnics and well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there is plenty of shade to share.
