Registration for the City’s Summer Swim School begins Monday, March 9 at 8 a.m. This year, the School has been enhanced in order to target each individual’s skill level and development. Class offerings are identified by age to simplify the registration process, but a skill assessment will be conducted by instructors on the first day of class in order to identify initial capabilities, to assist in customizing class curriculum. At the end of each session, participants will receive a summary of their progression.
A wide variety of classes are available, from parent and child aquatics (for ages 6 months-2 years) to teen-adult classes (for ages 13 years and up), plus a neighborhood swim team is offered for children ages 5 and up at four City pools.
