RICHARDSON – The City of Richardson has set up a second drop-off recycling location while residential recycling remains temporarily suspended due to impacts related to COVID-19.

People may continue to recycle by dropping off items at recycling bins located at the Westside Pump Station located at 101 N. Cottonwood Dr., and at the Richardson Service Center parking lot at 1260 Columbia Dr.  Both locations will open from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily.

Accepted items include plastic containers, aluminum, steel and tin containers, glass bottles, newspapers, mixed papers and phone books, wax-coated paper drink containers, pots and pans and corrugated cardboard and box board.  Items must be empty, clean and dry before being placed in recycling bags.
