As part of the updating process for the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan and the development of the City’s Active Transportation Plan (ATP), two open house meetings were held this week for the community to offer input. One was held at Heights Recreation Center March 2 and one was held at Huffhines Recreation Center March 3. Both enabled visitors to walk among displays and give feedback on current recreation facilities and programs, future park and open space use as well as active transportation options and connectivity in Richardson.
The City is also seeking public input via online surveys; the ATP survey is now available online here and the Parks survey is expected to be available in early April.
