Grover is the Shelter’s second-longest resident since he came to us Nov. 23. He is a 7-year-old neutered male, pitbull-terrier mix. Grover is in need of a family who wants to spoil a dog and give a little TLC. He came in with some hair loss, sores and scabs from fly bites. We are currently treating him and trying to put some weight on this cutie. Grover is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He has been one of our many dogs who have been a part of the Doggy Day Out Program. We found out that he is comfortable with car rides and he can be a little shy when meeting new people and interacting with new things but he is slowly gaining confidence. Grover would need to have a meet and greet if a family has another dog as he barks at/barrier fight with dogs that bark at him through a kennel, but other than that he has not shown any other signs of aggression. He is a sweet teddy bear who loves to get cuddles and all the food that you can give him! Come show this cutie love and visit him soon by scheduling an appointment at https://richardsonanimalshelter.setmore.com.
